Integrative Health Technologies, Inc.'s (IHTI) Moves from Trading as a Pink Sheet Stock to Trading on the OTC.BB
Published on October 15, 2007
October 15, 2007 Park Financial Group, Inc. was cleared for an unpriced quotation on the OTC Bulletin Board and Pink Sheets as a market maker for Integrative Health Technologies, Inc.’s common stock. Park has submitted a price quotation for IHTI and it will begin trading as a Bulletin Board stock on the OTC.BB exchange as soon as the pricing approval is received.
As a pink sheet stock, IHTI had been accorded a “Ps” rating--the highest of the four rating classifications provided by Pink Sheets, LLC (www.pinksheets.com). The rating system reveals the ability and willingness of individual issuers to provide adequate disclosure in a timely manner enabling investors “…to quickly determine the level of information a company provides to the marketplace…to improve investor access to information…”
“Since the pink sheet rating did not signify the Company’s financial health,” said Gilbert R. Kaats, PhD, IHTI’s CEO, “we randomly selected three 100-company samples from a listing of all OTC.BB companies to see how some aspects of our financial health would compare with other OTC companies. IHTI’s net assets (assets minus liabilities)on average, exceeded that of ~85% of OTC companies. Additionally, our five successive quarters of net profit placed us in the top ~5% of OTC companies,” said Kaats. “Of course, this is no guarantee of success, but does seem to suggest we are a competitive investment.”
IHTI provides research and development studies and consulting to the healthcare and nutritional industries and provides independent clinical trials to validate the safety and efficacy of health-enhancing products, supplements, and technologies. The current management team assumed operational control of the Company in a merger and reorganization plan in June 2006 and has published all of its press releases under the “Press Room” ICON on the Company’s website (www.ihtglobal.com).
